About
Hi, my name is Rachel Cooper
I'm a portrait photographer based on the Dorset-Hampshire border, drawn to the simple beauty of clean, balanced imagery. Over the last 6 years I have had the priviledge of stepping briefly into peoples lives - meeting families, welcoming newborns and capturing their life moments that tell a story.
Whether it's wandering through the forest, a stroll on the beach or keeping things cosy wthin your home, my approach is always a friendly, patient and reassuring one, bringing an adaptable approach and giving space to breathe to let the session flow naturally and bespoke to you.
When I'm not behind my camera, I'm usually trying to keep up with my crazy Working Cocker Spaniel, being Mum, playing taxi to my children, grabbing time together with my husband at one of the local coffee shops, or crocheting on the sofa while binge watching the latest TV series.
Above all, I aim to photograph not just how you look, but who you are - the feeling, the soul, the moment.
